Technical Skills
In my 14 years of experience, I’ve worked with more than my share of acronyms. Most recently, these have focused on the Microsoft .NET / SQL Server varieties, including .NET 1.0 through .NET 3.5, WCF, ASP.NET 1.0-2.0, web services, JSON, AJAX including ATLAS, Silverlight, XAML, XML/XSLT, HTML, DHTML, CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, VBScript, Win32/Windows programming, SQL, T-SQL, IIS, Active Directory, Visual Studio 5 – 2008 and Team Foundation Server. Recent experience has also given me extensive experience with search engine optimization (SEO), Google Checkout, Paypal, E-commerce package integration, content management systems (CMS) including EPiServer, and ASP.NET styles and themes.
I’ve also utilized a number of methodologies from waterfall-based to XP/Agile/Scrum based, including the Microsoft Software Development Life Cycle and the Rational Unified Process.
Prior to focusing on the .NET platform, I’ve also had experience in C, C++, ActiveX, CGI, Perl, J2EE, JSP, JHTML, servlets, Java, JavaBeans, EJB, PHP, Oracle, JDBC, mSQL, mySQL, Sharepoint, Biztalk, IBM WebSphere, Apache, ATG Dynamo and Personalization Server, various flavors of UNIX, and Emacs.
Currently, I am pursuing interests in aspects of the .NET 3.5 platform, including WPF, ASP.NET MVC/MVP, and ASP.NET Dynamic Data as well as integrations with mobile platforms, including the iPhone, iPod, and iPad.
